By creating an account or using Empires of Planets ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Each person may maintain only one active account per season. Sharing accounts or using automated tools to play is prohibited.
All game state mutations are processed server-side. Attempting to manipulate game state through unauthorized means, exploiting bugs, or using third-party automation tools is prohibited and may result in account suspension or permanent ban. You agree to play fairly and treat other players with respect.
The Game operates on seasonal cycles. At the end of each season, in-game progress (resources, fleets, planets, research, alliances) resets. Account credentials and historical rankings persist across seasons. Seasonal resets are a core game mechanic, not a loss of service.
You agree not to: use offensive or harassing language in chat or player communications; impersonate other players or staff; exploit bugs instead of reporting them; attempt to access other players' accounts; use the Game for any illegal purpose. Violations may result in chat muting, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
All Game content including but not limited to code, graphics, UI design, game mechanics, text, and audio is owned by the Game operator. You retain no intellectual property rights to in-game assets. Your commander name, planet names, and alliance names must not infringe on third-party trademarks.
Any virtual currency, items, or cosmetics acquired in the Game have no real-world monetary value. They exist solely within the Game and cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred outside the Game. The Game operator reserves the right to modify virtual item properties for balance purposes.
The Game is provided "as is" without guarantees of uptime or availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or changes to game mechanics that affect your in-game progress.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Game ceases immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Game operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Game in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through in-game announcements. If you disagree with updated terms, you must stop using the Game.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
